5th Graders learned about the development of Mrs. Burnham's baby over the past 8 months. We discussed how human life develops after conception, watched some incredible NOVA videos clips of cells dividing and differentiating, and watched what parts of the human body form first. The exploration leads nicely into the next 5th grade science unit, the nervous system! (not to mention Mrs. Burnham's next project!)
