Owl Pellets in 2nd Grade!

Owl pellets are masses of bone, teeth, fur, feathers and exoskeletons of various animals preyed upon by raptors, or birds of prey. Students made predictions about what their owl ate for dinner, and are now cleaning, sorting and identifying the bones in their pellet. In the process they are learning about the amazing adaptations of owls.
